The 2016 Pan American Championships will comprise three main events: Individual, Doubles and Teams.

Each country shall be permitted to enter up to four (4) men and four (4) women.

Each country shall be permitted to be represented by one (1) men’s couple, one (1) women’s couple and (1) mixed couple.

Each country shall be permitted to participate with a men’s team and a women’s team (minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 athletes).



A National Federation is eligible to enter in a championship if it is a paid-up Full Member of the FPS and is not indebted to the FPS by its failure to pay any relevant FPS dues or Championship entry fees. The members must have paid member dues for the quadrennial to date starting after the Pan American Games and finished the year of the Games.

Players must provide a copy of their passport to the Championship office prior to the first Technical Meeting. In the case of any queries, the original passport must be shown to the Technical Director.

A player is eligible to represent a country in a Panamerican Championship if he has been born in the country, or is a citizen of, or became a naturalized citizen of, or has resided in, the country for at least three years immediately preceding the Championship.
NOTE: Notwithstanding the above, a player is ineligible to represent a country if he has represented another country in the three years preceding the Start Date in a recognized International Squash Championship (e.g. WSF World Championship, Regional Championship, official Match between National Federations) in any age group.

in the year preceding a Pan Am Games, where the Panamerican Championships is the qualifying event for the Pan Am Games, the athlete eligibility for the events is the same. Any competitor in the qualifying event Pan American Championships must be a national of the country (i.e. hold a passport) of the FPS member entering them.



The Championships will be carried out in accordance with the Official Regulations established by the Panamerican Squash Federation (FPS) - in force at the date of the competitions.

The official ball for the competitions shall be DUNLOP [as determined by the Organizing Committee: black double yellow dot, green dot (altitude) and/or white (glass court)] for all the courts.

All players and attendees must comply with the US Squash Eyewear Policy, which requires that eyewear meet ASTM-F803 standards at all times during accredited play. If a player persists in entering the court without eyewear, the player will lose the match. Additionally, the wearing of protective eyewear is mandatory for all participants in doubles event.

All players, Parents, Coaches, and Spectators must abide by the US Squash Code of Conduct






El Torneo Panamericano Juvenil de Squash 2016 consistirá de tres categorias: 


Cada país tiene el derecho de inscribir a un máximo de cuatro (4) hombres y cuatro (4) mujeres.


Cada país tiene el derecho de ser representado por una (1) pareja masculina, una (1) femenina y una (1) mixta.

Cada país tiene el derecho de participar en este evento con un equipo masculina y uno femenino (Mínimo 2 y máximo 4 deportistas)



Una federación nacional tiene derecho a participar en los campeonatos siempre que sea miembro activo y no tenga deudas con la FPS. La FPS se maneja de forma cuatrienal iniciando el año siguiente a los Juegos Panamericanos y terminado el año de los Juegos.

Los delegados deben presentar copia del pasaporte de cada atleta ante la oficina de campeonato antes del Congresillo Técnico. En caso de cualquier duda, el pasaporte original debe presentarse ante el Director Técnico


Un atleta es elegible para representar a un país en un Campeonato Panamericano si cumple los siguientes requisitos: Haber nacido en el país o ser ciudadano naturalizado o ser ciudadano residente del país desde al menos tres años inmediatamente anteriores al campeonato.

NOTA: No obstante lo anterior, un atleta no es elegible para representar a un país si ha representado a otro país en los tres años anteriores a la fecha del inicio del campeonato, (por ejemplo: campeonato mundial, campeonato regional o partido oficial entre federaciones), aplica para todos los campeonatos.


El año anterior a los Juegos Panamericanos, el Campeonato Panamericano es clasificatorio a los Juegos, para ser elegibles los atletas participantes deben tener la nacionalidad del país que representan, es decir presentar el pasaporte del país en mención.


Los campeonatos serán llevados por el Reglamento Oficial aprobado por la Federación Panamericana de Squash, FPS, para la fecha del campeonato.

La pelota oficial para las competencias debe ser DUNLOP, acorde a las especificaciones del Comité Organizador: negra doble punto amarillo o punto verde (altitud) y/o blanca (canchas de vidrio)

Todos los jugadores y acompañantes deberán cumplir con la Política de Lentes Protectores de US Squash, que requiere que los lentes cumplan con las especificaciones ASTM-F803 durante todo el periodo de competencia. Si un jugador se resiste a entrar a la cancha si lentes de protección, este perderá el partido. Adicionalmente, los lentes protectores son mandatorios para todos los participantes en el evento de dobles. 


Todos los jugadores, familiares, entrenadores y espectadores deberán seguir el Código de Conducta de US Squash


Kellner Squash Center, Trinity College

 The Kellner Squash Center is a fitting home base for the top men’s and women’s squash programs in the country. It features 10 international-sized courts, two of which are constructed with three color-paneled walls for easy spectator viewing, as well as pyramid-style amphitheater seating that enables up to 500 spectators to watch matches on all 10 courts simultaneously. Trinity is the only collegiate squash program with color-paneled glass courts, which require the use of a white ball.

Please note that accommodation is included from September 17th (check-in) to September 25th (check out) only. Players are welcome to arrive earlier but this will be at their own expense.

Transportation will be provided from Bradley International Airport to the hotel on September 17th and from the hotel to the airport on September 25th only.
