Please note, this is Martin Luther King Day weekend in the U.S. All finals (consolation and main draw) will be played on Monday holiday! Matches will start Friday 12pm. We'll do our best to schedule evening start Friday for all out-of-town players.

All 70+ matches on Friday and Saturday will be played at the Apawamis Club in Rye, NY.

Friday, January 18, 2019, all players need to be available starting at 12:00pm ET. We'll do our best to arrange evening starts on Friday for out-of-town players.

Unfortunately, due to the size and logistical constraints of running this tournament, US Squash cannot accommodate any scheduling requests. Entrants are limited to one draw only.


Withdrawal Deadline:

Players who withdraw from the tournament after the regular entry deadline will not be refunded their entry fee.

Tournament of Champions Tickets:

TOC tickets are included free of charge with your tournament entry for Sunday night! Please email doubles@ussquash.com to confirm your interest in attending. You must be successfully registered for the tournament to reserve your free ticket. Patrons will receive back wall tickets, and regular tournament entry will receive right wall tickets. Guest tickets will be made available to players that have paid the guest fee. If you need additional tickets, they can be purchased at $50 for backwall, and $20 for right wall. Only 50 right wall tickets are available, so don't wait to reserve your tickets!

Entry Deadline and Fees

Entry deadline is Wednesday, Janury 9, 2019 12:00pm ET 

After this time no more entries will be accepted.

 

Due to limited court capacity, players may sign up for one division only. 

Entry fee is $185 per player. This includes a non-refundable $10 processing charge per entrant.

Under 30 entry is $110.  

Guest fee is $110. Includes access to all functions and hospitality.

-        GOLD Patron Fee $1,000 per player - Includes entry, special gift & guest access  

-        PLATINUM Patron Fee $2,500 per player - Includes entry, extra special US Squash gift & guest access 

-        *All Patrons will receive recognition in the program and are deeply appreciated.  Any amount above $295 is tax deductible.  



Policies

-        NO REFUNDS will be issued to players who withdraw from the main draw after the regular entry deadline.

-        All players MUST be current US Squash members or members of their own National Governing Body. 

-        Players may only enter one division.

Century Rules

In order to qualify for Century Doubles Players should add up year, month and days of the age of both players and the total must be within 30 days of 100.

60+ - One player on each team must be 60 years or older
70+ - One player on each team must be 70 years or older
80+ - One player on each team must be 80 years or older 



Refereeing

Both teams must stay to referee the following match. Both losers are required to center referee and line judge respectively. One of the winners is required to be the other line judge. 

 

 

Accreditation 

  • This tournament is accredited by US Squash. 
  • All US Squash Accredited Tournaments must abide by the policies outlined here

 

Code of Conduct 

  • All Players, Parents, Coaches, and Spectators must abide by the US Squash Code of Conduct
  • All Players, Parents, Coaches, and Spectators should review the?Rules of the Road for tips and tricks on how to manage common scenarios that may occur at tournaments. 

 

Protective Eyewear 

  • All players and attendees must comply with the US Squash Eyewear Policy, which requires that eyewear meet ASTM-F803 standards at all times during accredited play. 

 

Division and Player Start Times 

  • Division Start Times indicate the earliest possible match time a player can expect to play within their division.  
  • Player Start Times indicate the first match time for each player. 

 

How to Withdraw or Change Divisions in a Junior Bronze, Silver, Gold, JCT, or National Championship Tournament  

  

If a player wants to either withdraw from a tournament or request to change divisions, follow the directions outlined below:  

  

  1. Log in to your account.  
  1. Go to the “tournaments” tab on your player profile.  
  1. Click on “Withdraw/Change Division” next to the tournament you would like either withdraw from or request a division change.  
  1. Select “Request Change Division” or “Request Withdraw/Refund”  
  1. If selecting “Request Change Division,” select the division you would like to change to and click “Submit.”  
  1. If selecting “Request Withdraw/Refund” read all US Squash policies and check the “Yes, I wish to withdraw” box and click “Submit.”  
  1. Once you submit your request, you will receive an email that states that your request has been sent to the Tournament Director.  If you have not received an email indicating that your request has been processed within 48 hours, please follow up with the tournament director.

NEW YORK CITY ACCOMMODATIONS:

The University Club of NY has set aside a block of 25 guest rooms for the evening of January 17, 40 guest-rooms for the evening of January 18 and 19 and 10 guest-rooms for the evening of January 20, 2019.

The rate for a Standard Room is $199.00. A Junior Suite is $354.00 and a One-Bedroom suite is $479.00.

Room rates are subject to the current prevailing State and City taxes: 8.875% New York State sales tax, 5.875% New York City tax and $3.50 occupancy tax per room ($5.50 per suite) per night. The above accommodations are for sleeping purposes only.
