2018 Summer Squash Camps at McArthur Squash Center at Boar's Head Sports Club

We are running three weeks of camp this year. All camps are limited to 27 participants and we are usually 100% full by early April.

Check out our 2018 Summer Squash Camps by clicking here

Week 1: June 17-22 (sold out- wailtlist running)
Week 2: June 24-29 (3 spaces available as at 5/29/18)
Week 3: July 8-13 (1 space left open as at 5/29/18)

Summer Gold Tournaments Policy

  • Players may use the points from a maximum of two gold tournaments in any given age division held from June 1, 2018 through Labor Day.
  • If a player participates in more than two gold tournaments in any given age group, his or her top two point-earning events will automatically be used.
  • Summer gold tournaments not counting towards a player’s ranking average will not affect that player’s overall tournament count.

NOTE: If a player incurs a 0-point ranking penalty due to a second late withdrawal or mid-tournament default, that tournament will count on the player’s record even if they have played in more than 2 summer gold tournaments.

2018 PROVISIONAL Tournament Schedule

ALL players must enter knowing that play could begin as early as 3.00pm on Friday June 15. However, this is the 4th year that we have held our Junior Gold tournament, and based on previous patterns of entry it is LIKELY THOUGH NOT CERTAIN that the U11 and U13 divisions will only begin play at 8.00am on Saturday morning.
Finals and consolation finals will be played on Sunday morning. In some divisons of entry, two rounds might still be necessary on Sunday. The very last matches end on Sunday at around 3.00pm. On Sunday we only use one venue, and have almost no capacity to alter scheduled times; so for this reason it's very important all entrants do not make travel plans that involve leaving McArthur Squash Center earlier than 3.00pm.

The majority of the matches will be played at:

McArthur Squash Center

For travel details please click here. McArthur Squash Center has 9 singles courts, including one all glass white ball doubles. The all glass court will be used for tournament matches. The Squash Desk at McArthur Squash Center can be reached at 434-972-6009. The direct line for Tournament Director Mark Allen is 434-972-7424.

The secondary venue is St Anne's Belfield School, which has 5 ASB squash courts. These are located on the Greenway Rise Campus of the upper school (2132 Ivy Road). The courts are behind the Student Activities Center at the rear of the campus. Directions to the Greenway Rise Campus can be found here. If your match is at St. Anne's then the court # on the draw will be preceeded by the abreviation STB. Please note that the STAB courts will only open 15 minutes before play is scheduled to begin, so those wanting to practice should do so at MSC.

Please make certain you make your way to the right campus - we have used the courts several times for other events and a lot or participants make the mistake of going to the Belfield Campus.

The two venues are 1.9 miles apart.

Flying into Richmond is also easy - being only an hours drive away.  Dulles Airport is a 2 hour 15 minute journey – though allow at least 3.5 hours on a Friday afternoon.
