PLAYING REGULATIONS

• All matches are to be played in accordance with the WSF’s The Rules of Squash and WSF World Championship Regulations.
• Point-A-Rally scoring to 11 will apply to all men’s and women’s age category events.
• 19” tins will be used for all events.
• All players must report to the relevant venue Tournament Office 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of every match.
• A player may be disqualified and the match awarded to the opponent if he or she arrives 10 minutes or more after the scheduled start time or after the court becomes available, if later.
• All players must wear appropriate squash clothing and non-marking shoes which conforms to WSF regulations.
• Players will be exempt from wearing protective eyewear but only if they sign a risk waiver at the registration desk prior to playing their opening match.

OFFICIAL BALL

• The WSF official ball – Dunlop-will be used for all matches.
• The Dunlop double yellow dot ball will be used for all men’s and women’s age category events.

REFEREEING

• As many as possible officially qualified referees will be present throughout the Championships. However, all players are very likely to be required to mark/referee throughout the seven days of play. On completion of a match, unless told otherwise by tournament officials, the two players should always presume that they are required to ref/mark the next match on their court. The tournament policy is that the winner will referee and the loser will mark.
• Failure to make yourself available to mark/referee the next match could result in you being disqualified from the next round of the tournament.

There are two venues being used for this event.

Approximately 75% of the matches will take place at the primary venue which is;

McArthur Squash Center at Boar's Head Sports Club

200 Wellington Drive, Charlottesville. Virginia. 22903.

There are 14 singles courts at McArthur Squash Center. The 12 regular courts will be labelled on the draw as MSC1 through MSC12. Our four wall glass white ball show court will be labelled as MSCG1, and our three wall glass black ball show court will be labelled as MSCG2.

The secondary venue is St. Anne's Belfield School. St. Anne's is a local prep school located just 2.3 miles from the primary venue. Please note that St. Anne's has two campuses and the courts are located on the GREENWAY RISE CAMPUS, with an address of 2132 Ivy Road, Charlottesville. Virginia. 22903. For more information on the St. Anne's venue visit the ST. ANNE'S BELFIELD page on the website.

St. Anne's has 5 courts and they will be labelled on the draw as ST1 through ST5.

PLEASE NOTE THAT MATCHES IN DIVISIONS WILL MOVE BETWEEN THE TWO VENUES. IT IS VERY POSSIBLE THAT YOU WILL PLAY A MATCH AT McARTHUR, THEN BE AT ST. ANNE'S THE NEXT DAY, AND THEN BACK AT McARTHUR THE DAY AFTER THAT. PLEASE CHECK THE DRAW CAREFULLY AND MAKE A NOTE OF WHICH VENUE YOU ARE PLAYING AT EACH DAY.
