The annual MA State squash tournament is an excellent opportunity for players of all abilities and ages to compete against your peers.  No other tournaments offer the breadth and depth of competition of the state. This season's tournament will offer 27 different draws for genders, skill levels and ages.  The 2017 tourney promises to be bigger and more competitive than last year so don't miss out on the challenge!  AND it's free!  There is no entry fee for current MA Squash and US Squash members - your US squash membership must be current in order to register.

Entry Deadline

Registration closes on December 27, 2016

Before registering to play, please verify that you are a current MA Squash and US Squash member.

Play begins as early as January 9, 2017 depending on the draw size and concludes at the Finals Event on Thursday April 13, 2017.

Each draw will be scheduled independently based on the number of entrants.  The format of the tournament is single elimination for most draws and the scoring for all matches will be PAR-11. All matches, except finals, are self scheduled and played at a venue mutually agreed upon by the players.

Eligibility

To qualify for any of the age level draws, you must be the minimum age of the draw as of Jan 1, 2017.  To qualify for any of the skill level draws, you must be at or below the rating level of the draw as of December 21, 2016.  For example, in order to qualify for open 4.0, your US Squash rating must be at or below 4.0 on Dec 21 2016.  Each draw will be administered by a volunteer draw coordinator who is familiar with most of the players in their respective draws.  The coordinator will determine eligibility for draws and may reassign as required.

You may enter more than one draw but no more than two skill level draws.  You are eligible to play in the younger age brackets and the more highly skilled skill brackets.

 Note

The sign up page only allows you to enter a single division at at time so if you wish to play in multiple draws then you must choose your division, submit, return to the sign up page and resubmit your next entry.

T-shirts will not be provided even though the sign up page requests your size.
