U.S. Open

The U.S. Open semifinal matches start at 5:30pm Friday and finals matches begin at 5:00pm Saturday. All Skill Level matches will be completed by this time to enable players to watch the U.S. Open matches.

Players participating in the US Skill Level Championships will be eligible for a 50% discount using the code SKILLS19. (General Admission and Club Level only)

 

 

Entry Information
 

Tournament Entry is available two different ways:

1) Players can register on the US Squash website

           -  Regular Tournament Entry is until Wednesday October 2 at 12:00pm, NOON EST at $125* 
             *Includes a non-refundable $10 processing charge per entrant. 

               NO REFUNDS will be issued to players who withdraw from the main draw after the regular entry deadline. 

     Patron Levels

         Platinum Patron: $2,500

           - Registration for the Skill Level Championships
           - Two (2) U.S. Open Front Wall tickets with reserved seating for Semifinals and Finals matches
           - Two (2) unlimited food and beverage wristbands 
           - Skill Level patron gift

         Gold Patron: $1,000

           - Registration for the Skill Level Championships
           - Two (2) U.S. Open Club Level tickets with reserved seating for Semifinals and Finals matches
           - Four (4) drink vouchers per day for the U.S. Open
           - Skill Level patron gift 

Silver Patron: $500

           - Registration for the Skill Level Championships
           - One (1) U.S. Open Club Level ticket with reserved seating for Semifinals and Finals matches
           - Two (2) drink vouchers per day for the U.S. Open
           - Skill Level patron gift 

 2) Players can gain free entry to this event if they finish in 1st or 2nd place in any given skill division based on qualification through one of the Regional Championships hosted around the country. US Squash will reach out to these players separately to seek their entry.

All participants must be be current members of US Squash through the last day of the tournament.

Players may only participate in one division.

 

Skill Level Information

In order to be eligible for the US Squash Skill Level Championships in a given division, a player must have a skill rating equal to or less than the division he or she is registering as at May 29 2019. 

All players ratings will be checked to ensure they are placed in a division for which they are eligible. Players will be moved to the correct division if necessary.


 

Tournament Draw Notes

Please note that draws will be capped at 16 players.

Players will qualify for a division on a first come, first served basis until there are 16 in a division. At that time a waitlist will be formed and players will be moved into the main draw when there is a withdrawal. 

If players are placed on a waitlist they may enter another division for which they qualify whilst remaining on the waitlist for the original division. If a place becomes available then the player will be asked to choose which division they wish to compete in. Players may only compete in one division.

A minimum of 4 players are required to host any given division.

Divisions may be combined if there are fewer than 4 players entered.

 

U.S. Open Tickets

Players participating in the US Skill Level Championships will be eligible to purchase U.S. Open tickets on semifinal and finals day at a 50% discount using the code SKILLS19. (General Admission and Club Level only)

Accreditation 

  • This tournament is accredited by US Squash. 
  • All US Squash Accredited Tournaments must abide by the policies outlined here

 

Code of Conduct 

  • All Players, Parents, Coaches, and Spectators must abide by the US Squash Code of Conduct
  • All Players, Parents, Coaches, and Spectators should review the Rules of the Road for tips and tricks on how to manage common scenarios that may occur at tournaments. 

 

Protective Eyewear 

  • All players and attendees must comply with the US Squash Eyewear Policy, which requires that eyewear meet ASTM-F803 standards at all times during accredited play. 

 

Division and Player Start Times 

  • Division Start Times indicate the earliest possible match time a player can expect to play within their division.  
  • Player Start Times indicate the first match time for each player. 

 

Refereeing

  • All players are required to referee the match after theirs.
  • All players must have completed the Full Club Referee exam to participare in the tournament.
